Remember what we read in Part 1 from the Bible?
"And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no-one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." Revelation 13:16-17.
This is not pie in the sky - we are close to these end-time events right now in the real world!
The "mark" as described in the Bible will very likely be a microchip which is implanted under the skin on the hand or forehead. It can be injected with a syringe. Such a chip is marketed right now by Verichip Corporation, a subsidiary of Applied Digital Solutions in the USA. It is the size of a grain of rice, and works on the same principle as a microchipped lost animal, which is scanned, and then the database-stored information shows its owner's name and where he/she lives.
Satan always works slowly, cunningly, so that we are all conned gradually. At present, the information shown after scanning of humans will most likely be just name and address for security purposes. That's how it is advertised now. It is then a simple further step to add the bank account information to the database, which brings it into line with Bible prediction with regard to buying and selling.
Eventually, when the antichrist arises, it will be a cashless society. The excuse for abolishing credit cards will be they can be lost or stolen, which creates more work for the bureaucracy. An order will come that everyone must take the mark/microchip. When the person is scanned, his/her bank account information will be revealed, as to whether or not funds are available for the transaction. No microchip = no scan, no buy, and my friend you will have to live off the land, because trips to the supermarket or any store won't be an option!
At first the mark will be put on the hand. As we all know, a hand can be amputated in an accident, or bitten off by a shark or crocodile (God forbid) but if your head is removed then it's a case of goodbye world. So on the forehead it will most likely be.
Let this be a warning now, dear reader. If you take that mark - the microchip - you will be a goner as far as God is concerned. A goner for all eternity. Take heed of the following words in Revelation 14 verses 9 to 11:
"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." [Underlining is mine.]
So the seriousness and consequences of taking that mark are there for all to see. Some Bible scholars say that before Christians are ordered to take the mark, they will be taken up out of this world as per 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. Whether that happens or not, refuse the mark! If you are not a Christian now, then become one! Otherwise you are without hope. Even if you die now and never take the mark you'll go to eternal death without Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.
